Target Audience: Individuals with basic laboratory experience

Stem Cell Models (1 day, $400): Participants will cover introductory concepts in stem cell differentiation methods and organoid models. The course covers:

  • directed differentiation of human iPSCs
  • 2D versus 3D cell culture
  • applications of organoid models

Stem Cell Models (2 days, $600): Participants will cover methods for stem cell differentiation, organoid models, and the assessment of cell types after differentiation protocols. The course covers:

  • all content from the 1 day course
  • assessment of cell morphology
  • assay for protein expression
  • fluorescent imaging

Bringing Stem Cell Models to Your Lab (5 days, $1,000): Participants will follow a simple organoid differentiation protocol and perform various assessments of the resulting cells. The course covers:

  • all content from the 2 day course
  • performance of an organoid protocol
  • techniques for the assessment of organoids
  • introduction to genomics and transcriptomics
  • introduction to disease models
